Add a soft, decorative edge to wainscoting, shelving, and cabinetry with this solid wood scalloped moulding. A continuous run of 1″-radius scallops at 2″ spacing gives the lower edge a gentle, repeating rhythm, while the flat 0.75″ profile sits cleanly on a wainscot cap, chair rail, or shelf front. The detail suits nurseries, kids’ rooms, cottage kitchens, and boutique interiors alike.
Supplied in a 96″ length, 2″ high and 0.75″ thick, this wood millwork trim is CNC-cut from solid soft maple, a tight-grained hardwood that sands smooth and takes paint evenly, as seen in the painted nursery application. Each length finishes with a clean half-round end, so runs meet neatly at corners without interrupting the scallop pattern.
This scalloped moulding was produced to a client’s drawing, with the scallop radius, spacing, and stock size set to suit their wainscot detail. Every one of those values can be adjusted, whether you need tighter or deeper scallops, wider stock, or a different species for a stained finish.
Shown at 96″ long, this moulding can be customized to any dimensions, including length, height, thickness, scallop radius, and spacing, to suit your wainscoting, shelving, or cabinetry.
