What are flexible tambour panels?
They are panels made of narrow solid wood strips (tambours) mounted side by side on a flexible backer. The backer lets the panel bend around curved surfaces while each strip stays rigid, which produces a fluted or reeded surface on walls, furniture and fixtures.
Which wood species are available?
We covers variety of wood species: White Oak, Rift Cut White Oak, Red Oak, Walnut, Hard Maple, Soft Maple, Mahogany, Cherry, Alder, Poplar (Paintgrade), Pine and Yellow Birch. We can also manufacture tambour panels in any other wood species your project requires.
Are your tambour panels solid wood or veneer?
Every tambour strip is premium solid wood.
How many profiles can I choose from?
There are 33 standard profiles. Custom profiles can also be manufactured to your specification.
If it can be made from wood or MDF, we can fabricate it to your exact specifications.
Do you charge for cutting panels to size?
No. Cut-to-size is included at no additional cost. Final width may vary slightly from the requested size because panels are built in whole-strip increments based on the tambour width.
Can you make oversized panels?
Yes. Include the required dimensions in your quote request and our team will confirm feasibility.
What backing options are available?
Tambours are glued to a special 3M paper backer by default. Panels are also available on 3M double-sided adhesive paper for peel-and-stick application.
What is the lead time?
Delivery is typically 2–4 weeks from order confirmation.
Do you ship outside Toronto?
