Carved Lion Post in Solid Wood

A 50″ solid wood carved lion post with a lion head, flowing mane, side scrolls with rosettes, acanthus leaves, and a lion paw foot. Built for fireplace mantels, kitchen islands, bars, and statement furniture. Supplied unfinished, ready for stain or paint.

This carved lion post brings the authority of classical European design to fireplace surrounds, kitchen islands, and custom furniture. A lion head with a deep, layered mane sits under a stepped crown cap. Below it, a shield-shaped bib flows into a tapered shaft with a carved heart-scroll and leaf motif. Both sides carry C-scrolls with rosettes and acanthus foliage. The post ends in an acanthus-wrapped base and a lion paw foot.

Each post is cut from solid wood and CNC machined for accurate proportions. Our carvers then finish the face, mane, and foliage by hand, adding depth and definition that machining alone cannot produce. The result reads well up close and from across the room.
