Kitchen Cabinet Details to Add Flavor to Your Home

July 22, 2015

A small detail on your kitchen cabinets may seem like a simple feature, but such a finishing touch can really bring the room together and make your kitchen feel completed. The following are some of our favorites and suit a range of styles and designs.

  • Corbels. These elegant wood carvings provide a focal point for the kitchen by drawing the eye to particular aspects. Corbels are stained to match the wood of cabinets for a seamless look.
  • Legs and posts. If your kitchen features a center island, decorative legs or island posts are an ideal way to add some detail. You can also use corner posts for the same effect on other types of cabinetry.
  • Toe kicks. Furniture toe kicks have two purposes — they are both decorative, by giving cabinets the appearance of freestanding furniture, and they make workspaces more comfortable, by keeping feet at a distance from the counter.

At Art For Everyday, we have all of the above cabinet details and more carved wood products. Contact us to find out more about details that will fit perfectly with your kitchen cabinets.
