This carved wood palm tree rises 108″ from a scaled trunk to a sweeping 36″ canopy of hand-carved fronds. It gives entryways, hotel lobbies, restaurants and resort-style interiors a sculptural architectural focal point. The trunk is carved with an overlapping scale pattern over 82.375″, tapering from 7″ at the base to 6″ at a turned collar ring. Above the ring, layered fronds open into a 25.69″ canopy. The piece has a flat back for wall mounting, and its relief depth builds from 3.5″ at the trunk to 6″ through the canopy. Each palm is carved from solid hardwood as wood millwork, finished by hand after CNC roughing.
