LEG-CUSTOM080

White Oak Island Leg – Solid Rift White Oak, Turned Kitchen Island Leg

Give a kitchen island a furniture-style finish with this solid wood white oak island leg. A 4″ square block meets the countertop and apron with clean, flat faces, then steps through an arched shoulder into stacked collars, a bun, and a full ball turning. A long tapered vase follows, ending in a second ball and a slender toe. The traditional profile suits farmhouse, transitional, and English-country kitchens.

Standing 34.5″ tall, this piece of wood millwork is turned from solid rift white oak, chosen for its straight, even grain that stays consistent across the square block and holds crisp detail through every ring and bead. The 9″ square block gives ample length for apron and countertop fastening, and the 25.5″ turning carries the profile to the floor. Stain it to match surrounding cabinetry, as in the island shown, or clear-coat it to keep the pale oak.
