Give a console, counter, or island a clean, contemporary base with this solid wood modern turned table leg. Two full 3″ cylinders frame a slim 2″ shaft, with small stepped collars marking each transition. The pared-back profile suits Scandinavian, Japandi, and minimalist interiors, where proportion does the work instead of ornament.
Standing 35.25″ tall, this piece of wood millwork is turned from solid rift white oak, chosen for its straight, even grain that runs cleanly around a round profile. The 6.25″ top cylinder gives a solid surface for fastening to an apron or top, while the longer 10.75″ base cylinder keeps the visual weight low and the stance stable. Clear-coat it to show the oak, as in the entry console shown, or stain it to match surrounding millwork.
This modern turned table leg is produced to an approved drawing we have turned before in another species, and this run was made in rift white oak. Because the drawing is already proven, repeat orders in a new species don’t need a new design.
Shown at 35.25″ tall, this leg can be customized to any dimensions, including height, diameter, shaft size, and collar detail, to suit your console, counter, or island.
