  • Define a Space – White trim draws the eye and can be used to delineate subspaces in a large room. For instance, you can draw attention to a breakfast nook, a bar area or a sitting area with the proper use of white trim.
  • Add Contrast – The use of white trim around the perimeter of dark painted walls can really accentuate the base color especially if the ceiling is done in a matching tone.
  • Try Minimalism – For those homeowners who prefer a contemporary or modern look, white trim on white walls can create a very minimalist and chic backdrop for the rest of their décor. In fact, it’s perfect for highlighting that one magnificent art piece.
