Art For Everyday Collection Spotlight: New Art Collection
July 24, 2015
Our galleries are an excellent source of information for people interested in learning more about our designs. One of the collections featured in is our New Art Collection, which strives to strike a balance between the best of the old and the new.
Much of the New Art Collection makes extensive use of panels. Sometimes, the panels are curved as corbels reach up and out to provide structural support. Other times, the panels are simple and straightforward, exuding a simple sort of strength that results in a solid and reliable impression. Other features that come up in items included in the New Art Collection range from feet that narrow towards the end to wide bases that provide plenty of support. Overall, the result is simple, but it is the sort of simplicity that comes with a serious, dignified air. In fact, one could even call the effect stately when compared with the more ornate designs out there. As a result, the New Art Collection is neither excessively traditional nor excessively contemporary. Instead, it is transitional, making it well-suited to a range of tastes in a range of rooms.
