Do’s and Don’ts of a Great Kitchen Design
July 10, 2015
The kitchen is the one room in the house that everyone can come together and enjoy each others company with good food and good conversation. You want your client’s kitchen to stand out about the rest in design, efficiency, and personal touches. A few small details can make or break the overall atmosphere desired in a kitchen. Take some time consider a few do’s and don’ts in kitchen design.
- Do make spaces unique and personal– modern classic collection is great for a creative interior, fusing timeless elements with present design factors.
- Don’t overdo it– Sticking to a theme throughout kitchen design is great. However, don’t go to extremes to get the point across. Instead, incorporate style into the structure of the cabinetry using Art For Everyday’s island post, feet, etc.
- Do bring cabinets to the ceiling- Make the most of a space and create the maximum amount of storage. Cabinets that fall short of the ceiling are dust collectors and require unnecessary accessories to fill in the gap.
- Don’t fill the walls with cabinets– Storage is a big deal in today’s design, but you don’t have to focus solely on cabinets. Leave some room for counter space which is equally important in kitchen design.
Do invest in quality your clients can enjoy for years to come. Contact Art For Everyday for all of your architectural wood carvings needs!
