Art For Everyday Collection Spotlight: NY Collection
July 24, 2015
People in need of inspiration should spend some time searching through our collections. Each one contains an assortment of wood products such as corbels, mantels, and mouldings, united by their common look. One example is our NY Collection, which is inspired by some of the more modern buildings in that famous city.
Overall, the items included in the NY Collection are united in their use of simple shapes and patterns to create enormous visual interest. For example, the corbels look as though wood has been layered on top of wood, with some taking an angular approach while others are smoother and more curved. Likewise, one of the posts is as simple as decahedrons arranged in the shape of a column, while one of the other posts resembles nothing so much as braided hair because of its diagonal strips. Once integrated into the kitchen, the items included in the NY collection have a subtle but nonetheless powerful effect for the better. They blend in well with their surroundings, but provide much-needed embellishment for the senses. If you are interested in learning more about either our collections or our customized wood products, please feel encouraged to contact us at Art For Everyday.
