Green Architectural Woodcarvings for Environmentally Friendly Design
July 10, 2015
A recent survey revealed that nearly 90 percent of architects and interior designers “are concerned with how products are manufactured with regard to sustainability,” according to IMRE. At Art for Everyday, we provide architects and designers with quality architectural woodcarvings that are also environmentally friendly. Like we describe on our website, our woodcarvings are made of the best hard maple from environmentally managed forests.
In fact, Art for Everyday is proud to be a member of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and the Hardwood Forestry Fund (HFF). We have chain of custody certificates with FSC and SFI, and have implemented green initiatives to support the cause.
Interestingly, the study showed most designers and architects strive to use sustainable products “for their own sense of environmental responsibility,” IMRE reports. They use them because they want to, not because they have to.
If you’re among this environmentally conscious group, visit the Art for Everyday website to see our green woodcarving offerings that can help dress up your designs.
